The ICD-10-CA and CCI Code Evolution Chronicle provides a comprehensive list of all the ICD-10-CA and CCI codes for v2006 through to the current version, as well as related changes. The tabs include information about

  • The evolution of codes (new or disabled) from version 2006 to the current version
  • Concept changes since v2015 for ICD-10-CA
  • The top 100 codes (ICD-10-CA and CCI) used in 2021-2022 within at least one level of care (DAD day surgery, DAD inpatient, NACRS day surgery, NACRS ED, NACRS Clinic)
  • Emergency Use codes activated for use since v2016

Intended use: This product is intended to be used in combination with the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th Revision, Canada (ICD-10-CA) and the Canadian Classification of Health Interventions (CCI).

Intended audience: Users of ICD-10-CA and CCI coded data, including researchers and data analysts.
