Health Spending - Health Care in Canada
CIHI provides a range of free, aggregate-level data on Health Spending.
More comprehensive data may be available in published reports.
Free data are presented in one of two ways:
- Pre-formatted tables provide a snapshot of the data. Frequently, these have been published in association with a media release. These pre-formatted tables are identified by a
 symbol.
- Interactive data provide a dynamic presentation of health statistics, in which data can be manipulated, printed and exported. These interactive data are identified with a
 symbol. This facility is optimized to work in Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
Please note there is a printing issue with some of the prompted/interactive Quick Stats reports: when using the print preview function and when printing reports, the separating comma may change to a decimal. For example, 2,300.80 may change to 2.300.80, and 3,289,389.99 may change to 3.289.389.99.
