Health Care in Canada 2005
This year's report is divided into two sections:
- Part A: A Look Inside Canada's Health System summarizes recent developments in health and health care. It includes an overview of health spending and updated information on how Canadians view the health system and the services that they have received.
- Part B: A Focus on Volumes and Outcomes includes information on the distribution of select procedures across Canada and in-depth analyses of the relationship between hospital volumes and patient outcomes.
The PDF version of Health Care in Canada 2005 offers an added feature. Under each figure, a "view data" link will give readers connected to the Internet access to the underlying data tables. These tables open as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and can be saved to the user's personal computer.
For your convenience, CIHI offers you the choice of downloading the entire report at once or one chapter at a time. If you have a dial-up connection to the Internet, we recommend that you download the report by section.
